The best Fast Bowlers in the history of the Cricket
Bowling fast
is the key of cricket, if any team has good fast bowlers mean they are tough to
beat.
There are many fast bowlers around the world who have been witnessed in
the past and many of them are mostly from Pakistan, West Indies and Australia.
First
of all I would love to talk about the deadly west indian fast bowling attack
that dominated in the 1970’s and 80’s.
Malcolm Marshall
Malcolm Marshall was a great fast
bowler, with the capability of bowling the ball at the speed of above 90 Mph
and took many crucial wickets for the team, he also had a great bowling
partnership with Micheal Holding and andy roberts. Holding was also a fantastic
fast bowler in the history of cricket and he was often called the whispering
death by some cricket pundits, he took many wickets and had an extra ordinary
delivery to bowl highly paced fast balls and toe crusher yorkers.
Andy Robers
Andy Robers
was another fast bowling genius of Windies with capability of bowling fast
deliveries and he also took many wickets with a good strike rate and the West
Indies trio troubled the world with this type of devastating bowling attack.
Another superior bowling attack was of
Australia, they also produced some high quality fast bowlers such as Brett Lee,
Glenn McGrath and Shaun Tait the trio was very deadly in the early 21st
century. First of all I will talk about brett lee,
what a bowler he was, he was
known as the best fast bowler of that time and often compared with shoaib
Akhtar in terms of pace and skill of taking wickets with rocket balls
and he
also took Australian cricket to higher levels with outstanding bowling efforts
and has even won the world cups for country. Now I will talk about other legend
Glenn Mcgrath, he is arguably the best fast bowler the world has ever witnessed
and he was often compared with Wasim Akram and he is world cup’s leading wicket
taker and took many wickets for Australia and impressed the fans around the
world with his magical fast bowling.
Now I will
come to team Pakistan’s fast bowling battery. Pakistan once had the best fast
bowling attack with the inspiration of Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis and Shoaib
akhtar the trio formed dangerous partnership. First of all I will talk about
Shoaib akhtar,
he is the fastest bowler of the cricketing history, and he was a
genuine wicket taker and had the capability of bowling too fast balls and
troubled the opposition on many occasions. Wasim Akram is another bowling
genius and the best fast bowler history has ever seen, he was the first to take
500 ODI wickets in the history of cricket and he was often called sultan of
swing by cricketing experts and with Waqar he formed a lethal combination. Now
I will talk about waqar younis, he is the king of Yorkers, he used to bowl
unplayable deliveries to the opposition and moreover he has taken the most five
wicket hauls in ODI’s that’s another record of him that describes how good
bowler he was.
Now cricket
has been totally changed, after startup of different Leagues like Indian Premier League, Pakistan Super League and etc. Many countries focused on Fast
Bowling with different tricks and Produced Fast Bowlers.
